I have had the wonderful privlage of training a couple of German shepherds in my time. German Shepherd training, if done right can be a relatively easy task. Make sure that you start to train your dog at an early age to refrain it from undesirable habits. What Makes a Dog Pedigree?

If you have ever been around animals you have probably heard people refer to dogs as “mixed breed” or “pedigree”. There is a big difference between mixed breed dogs and pedigree dogs. If you are not familiar with what exactly makes a dog pedigree, here is a guide to what determines if a dog is considered pedigree or not.

A pedigree dog is a dog whose lineage has been tracked for many years and recorded generally on paper. When you look at your dogs pedigree you will get to see who their parents where, grandparents and so on. It is very much like looking at a person’s ancestry except of course with dogs.
